Privacy Policy
Last updated: 18 June 2026
This policy explains how Smart Assist for Tradies ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects your personal information when you visit smart-assist.com.au or join our waitlist. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What we collect
- Waitlist details you give us: your name, your contact (phone or email) and your trade, when you submit the waitlist form.
- Usage analytics: aggregated, cookieless traffic data (pages viewed, approximate location by country/region, referring site, device and browser) via Vercel Web Analytics; and, only if you accept cookies, behavioural data (clicks, scrolling, session recordings and heatmaps) via Microsoft Clarity.
How we use it
- To contact you about early access to Smart Assist and set up your account.
- To understand how the site is used so we can improve it.
- We do not sell your personal information.
Cookies & consent
Basic traffic statistics (Vercel Web Analytics) are cookieless and run for every visitor. Microsoft Clarity uses cookies and only starts after you select Accept on our cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time:
— open the cookie banner to accept or decline.
Who we share it with
We use trusted third-party providers to run the site and the waitlist. Your information may be stored or processed by them, including on servers outside Australia (for example, in the United States):
- Vercel — website hosting and cookieless analytics.
- Microsoft (Clarity) — behavioural analytics and session replay (only with your consent).
- Resend — delivers your waitlist submission to us by email.
Security, access & correction
We take reasonable steps to protect your information. You can ask us to access or correct the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to delete your waitlist details, at any time using the contact below.
Contact & complaints
